design is made up of two components.

Graphical Design and Production
2. Application Development
When
we say graphical design and production, we mean all
items that will be created in your web site that is
artistic. This includes: overall look and feel;
graphical headers; photography and modification of pictures
and images, creation of GIF animations and Flash; navigation scheme; use of color; format,
style and typeface.
When
we refer to application development, indeed this
sounds a little more involved, but of a very different
in nature. Application development is the programming
that goes into making your web site function. Without
programming there would be no: web pages at all; links
of any kind; placement of pictures; interactive forms;
no online calculators; and certainly no online
shopping.
