proven growth, the owner decided to move the company out of
the basement apartment into a
retail storefront. This retail venue offered a form of
street level exposure and marketing that a commercial office space
tucked away in a office building could not. Portland WebSmith
was Portland's first web design company and only
street level "walk-in web site
designer".
Portland
WebSmith spent a generous amount of time it's first 2
years in business (and continues) educating
the small business community about the World Wide Web.
Now, Portland WebSmith educates businesses on how to
